Carpe Diem - easier said than done for a self-professed procrastinator. But for the love of my life, I finally keyed my first sentence, then the second, and the third... as a recording of memories I'd want to remember, good or bad, a gift from Mommy to U - Dear Baby En

"From Baby En to Baby Kang, both my darlings, equally precious. May this journal keep u company, when Mummy can no longer be there......"

Flower Ring

"Mummy, I want the jzing (aka Ring)", there she went again, my Baby En. Recently, she kept asking to play with my wedding ring. Though she'd never lost it before, by then it'd be too late right. How am I going to find another one ("Get a new husband!" Did someone just said that?)?

Anyway, Mummy came up with a solution - Buy her a ring. "Mummy will get you a ring ok. One with a flower on it." Yesterday, I really stumped by one at Square 2 - ring with a flower, and it's pink, something she likes. So, I bought it for her.

"See, Mummy kept my promise. I bought you a flower ring." "Jzing, with flower. En En's jzing. Not Mummy's jzing", there she ranted, with glee. And she went everywhere with it, even when she went to bed.

HOWEVER, on one of her potty trip, she had her ring with her and "Ohh", she ended with a ring and a flower. Needless to say, anyone could guess what happened. "Ok, bring it to Gong Gong's house later. Ask Gong Gong to fix it for you". The ever-resourceful grandfather did repair it.

BUT, on our way for dinner, “她的花又掉了”,Gong Gong said when we reached the foodcourt. This time, it's really GONE.

Sigh..... ($$$$ grew wings. Fly, fly away...)
