Carpe Diem - easier said than done for a self-professed procrastinator. But for the love of my life, I finally keyed my first sentence, then the second, and the third... as a recording of memories I'd want to remember, good or bad, a gift from Mommy to U - Dear Baby En

"From Baby En to Baby Kang, both my darlings, equally precious. May this journal keep u company, when Mummy can no longer be there......"

Not too great a day - Baby En fell down

Baby En fell down today. What a bad fall!

The teacher told me she fell while playing in the playground. However, she didn't cry and managed to break her fall with her hands. I only saw minor redness on her knee with no other obvious signs of any bruises.

We went to Westmall with Daddy after dinner (OT: She wasn't wearing diaper. Everything went well the entire day. BUT, she peed while we were out shopping. Don't worry, Mummy's well-prepared. She got changed into fresh clothing). Things were not going too great by now. Next moment, Daddy came and questioned on fresh bruises that appeared on her cheeks and forehead. I told him what I knew. Then came," 老师说什么你就相信" . Me, being the one who believes that it's part and parcel of a child's growing up life to encounter knocks and bumps here and there, obviously couldn't see eye to eye with Daddy's ever so protective behaviour. However, I kept quiet this time round cos it's not the 1st time such things happened and it definitely would not be the last.

Then, black face black face black face. At home, it just got worse. Daddy saw that there were redness on her body. As usual, though it's by no fault of mine, I simply had to be the one who 背黑锅. More black face and 不耐烦.

What a day (out of a series of not so beautiful days)!
